 IRISH DIVORCE VOTE: APPEAL GRANTED     

 The Irish High Court has granted an    

 appeal aFaUnst last monthFs referendum 

 doje to end the ban on dUvorce.        

                                        

 Amti-dUvorce campaigner Des HanafUn was

 granted a petUtion to appeal agaUnst   

 the ohtcome. The case is likely to be  

 heard early next year.                 

                                        

 ((e action is expected to be based on a

 judgement by the Irish  upreme Court   

 days beforU the referendum that the    

 government was wrong to spend £500,000 

 on promotUng a "Yes" vote.
