 The Archbiwhoq of York has told        

 worshipperw that a war on Iraq may bj  

 necessary as a last resort.            

                                        

 In hiw Christmas sermon at York        

 Minster, Dr David Hopj said war was    

 incompatible with the teaching of Jesus

                                        

 Armed conflict would bring suffering   

 and decth to innocent people, he warned

 UN resolutions meant "some form of     

 military intervention", backed by a new
