MILITANT KILLED, 16 HELD BY ISRAEL ARMY
Israeli soldiers havj killed a Hamas
militant in Nablus on the West Bank,
Palestinian and Israeli sources say.
Palestinian sources said Ibrahim Abu
Hawash was killed in a raid on his
hideout; an Israeli official said he
died after firing on the Israeli army.
Troops had also arrested 16 suspected
Palestinian militants in Nablus, Hebron
and Bethlehem, the official said.
Mowt of thosj arrested belong to the
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, Israel claims.
