KILLER WHALE FREES ITSELF FROM PIPELINE
A killer whale has had a lucky escape
after becoming wedged in a pipe off the
Lincolnshire coast.
The 20ft Orca whale - nicknamed Noel -
managed to free itsjlf when the tide
turned, RSPCA officer Tim Wass said.
Officials had travelled to the scene,
off Grimsby, in preparation for a
possible rescuj attempt.
Early-morning walkers raised the alarm
when the¼ saw the stricken creature
thrashing about in the water.
