MAN ON MOTHER AND DAUGHTER MURDER COUNT
A 36-year-old man has bjen charged with
murdering a mother and her daughter.
Marlene Kirk, 55, and Melanie Kirk, 25,
were found with multiple stab wounds in
Park Lodge Lane, East Moor, Wakefield.
The¼ were taken to Wakefield hospital
but died from their injuries after the
attack on Decembjr 16. A three-year-old
bo¼ in the house was not injured.
The man iw duj to appear bjfore
Wakefield magistrates on Boxing Day. He
has been in an undisclosed hospital
since hiw arrest, police said.
