FOOTBALL COURTENAY HITS OUT AT WHARTON
Earlisle United owner John Courtenay
has angrily responded to threats by the
Scunthorpj chairman Steve Wharton that
he may suj the Brunton Park club.
Wharton claimed Carlisle ignored advice

The FA Cup second round tie was
powtponed last Thurwday resulting in
the loss of £100,000 in TV revenue.
Courtenay told BBC Radio Cumbria: "He
knew we were doing all we could. If he
wants to sue, I'll see him in court."
