 HUNTINGDON ABANDONED                   

 Huntingdon'w Boxing Day meeting has    

 been abandoned duj to flooding.        

                                        

 "Parts of the coursj including the home

 straight are already flooded, and with 

 more rain forecast we had little choice

 but toaabandon," explained clerk of the

 coursj Michael Prosser on Monday.      

                                        

 "Wj havj been told by the Environment  

 Bgenc¼ that the¼ are expecting further 

 floods in the area during the week."   

                                        

 The remaining nine fixtures scheduled  

 for Boxing Day (Thursday) are all      

 scheduled to go ahead at present.
