 Snarling, biting and spitting is not an
 image commonly associated with seal    
 pups, but they can be aggressive, says 
 the Cornish Seal Sanctuary.            
                                        
 ■ "They have jagged teeth and claws at 
   the end of their flippers - taking   
   them back to the sanctuary is not    
   always easy," a spokeswoman said.    
                                        
 ■ This year's mild winter has almost   
   halved the number of seals brought   
   into the sanctuary.
