 It tries to illustrate how the C of E  

  seeks to serve the nation             

  "24 hours a day"                      

  with 10,817 paid + 1454 unpaid clergy 

   taking 170,000 Baptisms              

           96,828 Weddings              

          560,000 Funerals each year... 

    & with 13,900 churches              

       that in 1992 alone cost it       

        £112m to maintain their fabric!
