 LONDON LEADS RECOVERY - FORTE          

                                        

 There was a recovery in the hotel      

 industry last year with visitors to    

 London leading the way, Forte said.    

                                        

 "The process of rebuilding the         

 company's profits is well under way",  

 chairman Sir Rocco Forte commented.    

                                        

 Forte's overall financial position was 

 "increasingly satisfactory" enabling it

 to continue substantial investments in 

 core businesses, Sir Rocco said.
