 KINGFISHER NAMES NEW COMET HEAD        

                                        

 Retailing group Kingfisher has named   

 new heads for its Comet electrical     

 chain and B&Q supercentres group.      

                                        

 Eddie Styring, who previously headed   

 Comet during a period of rapid profits 

 growth, returns as chairman to take    

 charge of the chain's recovery plan.   

                                        

 Martin Toogood will become MD of B&Q   

 supercentres and will report directly  

 to B&Q's chief executive Jim Hodkinson.
