 LOCAL GREEN, CLEAN FOCUS               

                                        

 Last week Edinburgh City Council was   

 voted the Greenest Council in Britain. 

                                        

 Chosen above 120 other councils,       

 municiples and boroughs, Edinburgh took

 the Green Apple Award judges by storm. 

                                        

 The council stood out because of its:  

                                        

  ■ annual festival of the environment  

                                        

  ■ long term commitment to green       

    policies.
