 CHAMPION BRUISED AFTER BIZARRE INCIDENT

                                        

 ■ BOB CHAMPION was battered and bruised

 when he was trampled by a horse in a   

 bizarre accident before the 3.00 race. 

                                        

 The former jockey was knocked to the   

 ground by Bold Choice as he led his own

 horse, Mr Felix, into the start. No    

 false start was called.                

                                        

 "I didn't have the chance to see the   

 horse. My horse jinked half a stride   

 and Jimmy's horse knocked me over."
