 BRIDGE NEWS                            

 Ascot Bridge Club (Berks) had two pairs

 in the top ten in the national Tuesday 

 BBL Winter Simultaneous Pairs: winners 

 Vernon Bates & Don Etheridge (73.59%), 

 and 10th placed Diana Carlton & D Green

 (67.25%). B Wallington & B Smith       

 (Chesham) were 2nd with 73.05%, Mr and 

 Mrs O Jessel (Hawkhurst) 3rd (71.73%). 

                                        

 The Wednesday session was won by Martha

 Jaynes & Stephen Fleming (David Lloyd  

 BC) with 74.76%. G Roman & D Davies    

 (Risborough) were 2nd (71.94%), and Mr 

 Mrs Brown (Scunthorpe) 3rd (71.14%).
