PORK WITH NOODLES. Serves 2-3
Cooking Time: Approx 10 minutes.
Ingredients 350g (12oz) British pork
steaks, cut into strips. 50g (2oz)
British ham, diced. 1x15ml sp (1tbsp)
dark soy sauce. 100g (4oz) dried egg
noodles, cooked+drained. 2x5ml sp(2tsp)
oil. 1 carrot, cut into shapes. Spring
onions, chopped. 227g (8oz) can water
chestnuts, halved. 50g (2oz) mangetout,
halved. 2 cloves garlic, crushed. 1x15
ml sp (1tbsp), light soy sauce,1x5ml sp
(1tsp) sesame oil. 1x5ml (1tsp) sugar.
Method Mix the soy & garlic. Add
pork and stir. Cover and refrigerate
for 10 mins. Heat oil in wok & stirfry
pork for 3-4 mins. Add ham, carrot,
onions, chestnuts, mangetout. Stirfry
for 2-3 mins. Add noodles & remaining
ingredients, stir & heat through.
