teacher, has no doubts about why his
comprehensive has been declared a
national winner.
"The pupils here have usually got a
smile on their face. They know they can
approach me anytime they want. I don't
want them to treat me like God.
"We're not soft. We don't tolerate
indiscipline. But we don't want passive
learning, we want involvement," he says
