 BRIDGE NEWS continued                  

                                        

 Martin Jones of Coventry was chosen as 

 a Young Player of the Year (1994) by   

 the EBU a wonderful way to celebrate   

 his 22nd birthday on 12th February!    

                                        

 The competitors, who had to be under   

 21 on Janaury 1st 1994, were judged on 

 outstanding performance in junior, non-

 junior and international events their  

 demeanour at the table also counting.  

                                        

 Equal second were Lior Zivan and Iain  

 Au-Yong, both from Loughborough.
