 OXFORD COLLEGEIATE SYSTEM MAY GO       

                                        

 Oxford University has announced a      

 radical review of its traditions.      

                                        

 The university's college structure -   

 where students are admitted to an      

 individual college, not the university 

 - may be scrapped and the one-to-one   

 tutorial system is also threatened.    

                                        

 Most controversial will be a proposal  

 to charge students top-up fees for     

 tuition, a move which other            

 universities would have to follow.
