 REGISTRAR REID RETIRES                 

                                        

 David Reid, Registrar of the Hearing   

 Aid Council (HAC) is to retire from the

 post after 25 years.                   

                                        

 He will be replaced by Christopher     

 Reid, of Reid & Co, Chartered          

 Accountants from March 1.              

                                        

 David Reid says: "The HAC has done     

 enormous work to achieve the objective 

 of professionalising private hearing   

 aid dispensing. I hope my successor    

 will carry on the task."
