 Most of the things we appreciate in    

 the West as Chinese are in fact        

 Cantonese because they have always     

 travelled.                             

                                        

 It is here that Pete visits the local  

 market and gets a few surprises and    

 shocks about edible items on display.  

                                        

 Macau, the tiny Portuguese colony      

 on the southern tip of the Chinese     

 mainland, was the first European colony

 in Asia, dating from 1557.
