 BA TO CREATE 300 JOBS                  

                                        

 British Airways is to create 300 new   

 jobs at its maintenance base in        

 Cardiff,the company has announced.     

                                        

 The move follows a decision to open a  

 third maintenance bay on the site at   

 Cardiff airport to service BA's        

 51-strong fleet of Boeing 747 aircraft.

                                        

 The bay will open in September and will

 bring the total number of workers at   

 the base to 800.
