 RUBEROID DEBUT RESULTS POSITIVE        

                                        

 Waterproofing group Ruberoid unveiled a

 healthy profits rise to £8.4m for 1994 

 from £7.1m - its first annual results  

 as a public company.                   

                                        

 "The economies in which we operate are 

 stable, although our principal markets 

 are interest rate sensitive," said a   

 Ruberoid spokesman.                    

                                        

 Ruberoid joined the market in January  

 1993 after splitting off from Tarmac.
