STUDENT FURY AT HARDSHIP
The system of student loans is failing
students, universities and the tax
payer, says Jim Murphy, the president
of the National Union of Students.
"Grants are at an all-time low, while
living costs are at an all-time high.
"Hall fees, course books, fuel bills
and food prices are increased year on
year, yet students face drastic cuts in
financial support," he said.
