 ■ MIGRAINE AND STROKES                 

                                        

 Doctors report this week that there is 

 a link between women having migraine   

 and the risk of stroke, the British    

 Medical Journal reports.               

                                        

 A low risk (about 19 strokes for every 

 100,000 migraine sufferers) is made    

 worse if you smoke or are on the Pill. 

                                        

 Women with migraine should check their 

 risk factors for stroke, such as family

 history, blood pressure, cholesterol   

 and - above all - try to stop smoking.
