 Turtle torment:                        

                                        

 ■ Since 1970, there has been an 85%    

   drop in loggerhead and green turtle  

   nestings in the Pacific.             

                                        

 ■ Turtles only return to the beach on  

   which they were born. They often find

   the beach developed for tourism which

   can mean they will never reproduce.  

                                        

 ■ Bali and Indonesian islanders kill   

   40,000 turtles a year - for tourists.
