 ■ Orrell Water Park is popular for     

 roach and skimmer fishing at present.  

 Best weights to 13lbs falling to the   

 pole, but 6-7lb catches also possible  

 on the feeder.                         

                                        

 ■ Sport is very poor on the Leeds-     

 Liverpool Canal in this area too. Cold 

 weather is responsible and a week of   

 higher temperatures is needed.         

                                        

 ■ The Warrington length of the Bridge- 

 water canal is opening on May 1. This  

 will give good roach, bream and carp.
