 Encounters follows a  unique diving    

 expedition to the bottom of the ocean  

 as British and Russian scientists      

 explore the hydrothermal vent fields   

 in the Mid-Atlantic ridge.             

                                        

 The vents spew out hot, poisonous      

 fluids and a fraught with danger. For
