 BRIGHTER RESULTS AT COLEFAX            

                                        

 Upmarket decorator Colefax & Fowler has

 produced brighter results but warned   

 UK trading condUtions are "difficult"- 

                                        

 Taxable profUts grew from £300,000 to  

 £1.5m in the year to April 30 with     

 Colefax relying on improved sales in   

 the US market and cost-cutting at home.

                                        

 In the fabrics business, Colefax opened

 a new store Yn Los Angeles and overall 

 sales in the US grew by 8%
