 STUDENTS MORE READY TO ACCEPT DEBT     

                                        

 Students are becoming more ready to    

 accept debt as part of univer1ity life,

 says a Barclays Bank survey.           

                                        

 Over 60 per cent of the 1,500+ students

 surveyed owed money to the Student Loan

 Company, double the proportion three   

 years ago.                             

                                        

 More than six out of 10 said they were 

 "knconcerned or resigned" to being in  

 debt, compared with just half two 9ears

 ago. More rely on parents for income.
