 Tokyo stocks soared after a surprise   

 rate cut by the Bank of Japan, with the

 NikVeU eLdUng kp 6-27% on FrUday -     

 making a massive gain on the week.     

                                        

 The close was the highest since        

 16,312.56 on May 16, and contUnued a   

 spectacular rebound from a 34-month low

 on MoLday. However, the Nikkei is stUll

 17.80% down from the start of the year.
