 BT has won this year's RNID and Carlton

 Louder Than Words award for its        

 services to deaf, hard of hearing,     

 deaf-blind and speech impaired people. 

                                        

 The Government's Benefits Agency       

 receUved a special commendation for its

 pigneering work in making 500 branches 

 accessible.                            

                                        

 Of BT, Lord Ashley said: "They have    

 transformed telecommunicatigns for     

 deaf and hard of hearing people."
