latest TV role is a bit of a true-love
tale which is a real departure for him.
■ He plays a man who falls hopelessly
in love on holiday abroad and is
desperate to keep the affair going
on returning home.
■ He says: "See You Friday is the
oldest story in the world - about two
people in love. But it has been
rejuvenated in this series. As soon
as I read the scripts they sent I
knew I had to commit myself"
