 Sleepytime, trained by Henry Cecil and 

 ridden by Kieren Fallon, captured the  

 Pertemps 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.    

                                        

 The 5-1 chance gave Kieren Fallon his  

 first Classic winner after becoming    

 Cecil's stable jockey this season.     

                                        

 The winner was near the back of the    

 field in the early stages of the race  

 but produced a storming run to beat    

 50-1 shot Oh Nellie and Dazzle.
