 Oxford ended the season by subjecting  

 newly promoted Barnsley to their       

 heaviest defeat of the seasonN         

                                        

 The match swung Oxford's way in the    

 18th minute when Joey Beauchamp cut in 

 to score and Nigel Jemson's header made

 it two soon afterwards.                

                                        

 Beauchamp and Jemson both netted again 

 as Oxford ran riot. Neil Redfearn      

 reduced the deficit on 59 but a fine   

 Mark Ford volley completed the misery.
