   a visa or any inoculations to enter  

   Tunisia for a holiday.               

                                        

 / THE LOCAL CURRENCY is the dinar which

   is only available in the country at  

   banks, exchange bureaux or hotels.   

   Credit cards are widely accepted in  

   resort areas but not elsewhere.      

                                        

 / ARABIC and French are spoken by all  

   Tunisians but an increasing number in

   the resorts speak English. The locals

   are an easy going, friendly lot but  

   do dress correctly in mosques.
