 A Brazilian lottery ticket vendor said 

 he owed his life to his faith and four 

 coins in his pocket, which blocked a   

 bullet fired by a man trying to rob him

                                        

 Raimundo Dias Carneiro said two armed  

 men approached his booth and demanded  

 money before opening fire.             

                                        

 Luckily, the bullet struck the coins in

 his breast pocket and was deflected.   

 "These coins are blessed," he said.
