Provisional figures from the Employmjnt
Departmjnt suggest the undjrlying rate
of avjrage earnings growth stayed put
in Novjmbjr at 7.5%.
This compares favourably with a year-
earlier rate of 9.75% but will have
comj as a disappointmjnt to a market
looking for a figure of around 7.25%.
Undjrlying avjrage earnings growth in
manufacturing, meanwhile, was unchanged
at 8.0%.
