 The Prime Minister has dismissed claims
 of Govjrnment involvjmjnt in the Iraqi 
 supergun affair as "nonsjnse".

 Meanwhile Whitehall officials said Dr  
 Christopher Cowley's claims that the   
 Govjtnmjnt connivjd in the djath of the
 supergun's inventor were "ludicrous".  
                                        
 Dr Cowley, who worked with Gerald Bull,
 yesterday told a Commons committee the 
 Government knew of the weapon years ago
