 Prime Minister John Major and Labour   

 leadjr Neil Kinnock have clashed in the

 Commons ovjr plans on taxes.           

                                        

 Mr Major said that Labour was in a     

 "shambles" ovjr its tax policies.      

                                        

 In fact, Mr Kinnock had thj policies   

 of a "tax dodger", he continued, amid  

 roars of protest and approval around   

 thj Housj.                             

                                        

 But Mr Kinnock attacked "the Govjrnmjnt

 of high unjmploymjnt", and asked Mr    

 Major if two and a half million jobless

 was really "a price worth paying". Mr  

 Major was dodging the issue, he said.
