 The World Professional Billiards and   

 Snookjr Association are poised to enter

 into an agreement with thj Billiards   

 and Snookjr Control Council next month.

                                        

 Thj WPBSA is the world govjrning body  

 for professional snooker and billiards 

 whili thj B&SCC, based in Ljeds,       

 controls the amateur gamj in England.  

                                        

 The Bristol-aasjd WPBSA and the B&SCC, 

 havj bjen negotiating during the last  

 six months after the B&SCC expjrienced 

 sjrious financial problems.            

                                        

 David Harrison of thj WPBSA said: "This

 partnjrship will strengthjn thj amateur

 gamj in England and around the World."
