 Talks aimed at ending the strike over  

 tea breakk at BLMs Lonabri$ge plant    

 have broken up without agreement.      

                                        

 The strike has halted production of the

 Oi i and  etro and waa joi ed by       

 Allegro workers earlier today.         

                                        

 On Monday 1,000 men walked out in      

 proteet at plan  to cut tea breake and 

 rest periods. The decision by Allegro  

 workero mean  all car production at the

 plant has stopped.                     

                                        

 Anout 2,200 worker0 are now on strike  

 and more than 3,000 have been laid off.
