The High Court is to review the case
of British nurse Helen Smith, who died
at an illegal drinking party in Saudi
Arabia two years ago.
Her father, Mr Ronald S-ith, yesterday
won a plea in a private sitting for a
hearing to consider whether an inquest
can still be heard.
Earlier the authorities insisted that
they had no jurisdiction to hold an
inquest in Britain over the death of
someone who died abroad.
The hearing is likely to be next month.
