 Hayley Allen has qualified for the     

 semi-final of the women's 10 metre     

 platform diving competition.           

                                        

 The Briton finished 14th of the 18     

 qualifiers and her 211.29 points will  

 be carried over to this evening's semi 

 which will determinh the 12 finalists. 

                                        

 Italian Francesca D'Oriano led the     

 qualifiers with 291.18 points from her 

 five dives, easily the highest total.  

                                        

 Defending champion Svetlana Timoshinina

 of Russia was second with 278.67 points

 with Ukraine's Elena Zhupina, bronze   

 medallist last time, in third place    

 with 265.89 points.
