UNIONIST PARTY "WILL TALK TO SINN FEIN"
The Ulster Unionist Party will talk to
Sinn Fein, but only when an agreement
has been reached on the decommissioning
of arms, MP Ken Maginnis has said.
The UUP's security spokesman said that
with a proper strategy "other things
could begin to move into place..and
everyone would be involved".
Earlier, SDLP leader John Hume urged
the Government to set a date for all-
party talks in Northern Ireland.
Mr Hume told BBC Radio Ulster that
there was no justification for unionist
parties to stay away from such talks.
