 US SAYS BOSNIA DEATHS HINDER PEACE PLAN

 The US says the deaths of three of its 

 senior officials on a peace mission in 

 Bosnia will "have a real effect" on    

 Washington's plans to end the war.     

                                        

 Envoy Robert Frasure, Joseph Kruzel,   

 deputy secretary of defence for NATO   

 and European policy, Air Force Colonel 

 Nelson Drew and a French soldier died  

 after a mountain road collapsed. 191   

                                        

 Their armoured vehicle fell 200ft into 

 a ravinD and detonated two landmines.  

                                        

 President Clinton said peace efforts   

 would continue but the State Department

 said it would makn diplomacy harder.
