 ARRESTS FOLLOW DANISH NEO-NAZI CLASHES 

 Danish police have arrested 57 people  

 following clashes between neo-Nazis and

 left-wing radicals near Copenhagen.    

                                        

 About 140 neo-Nazis and 500 opponents, 

 gathering in the town of Roskilde,     

 pelted each other with bottles and     

 stones over a chain of police.         

                                        

 The police, in riot gear, used tear gas

 to scatter the two groupings.          

                                        

 The right-wingers, who included Danes, 

 Swedes, Norwegians, Britons and        

 Germans, were marking the anniversary  

 of the death in 1987 of Hitler's former

 deputy, Rudolf Hess.
