 FRANCE Police have seized a huge anti- 

 nuclear banner that Greenpeace hoped to

 unfurl on the summit of Mont Blanc,    

 Europe's highest mountain, to protest  

 at France's decision to resume nuclear 

 testing in the Pacific.                

                                        

 ETHIOPIA Officials say 44 people have  

 died and 2,500 are homeless after      

 flooding struck the town of Magete in
