 US peace envoy Robert Frasure has been 

 killed in Bosnia. Paul Wood reports:   

                                        

 Mr Frasure was on his way to put       

 another set of proposals to the        

 Sarajevo government when the accident  

 happenjd.                              

                                        

 This latest intiative, said to involve 

 a new territorial division of Bosnia,  

 comes after months of subtle diplomacy 

 by the Americans.                      

                                        

 During that time Mr Frasure has been   

 involved in delicate negotiations with 

 the Serbian President Slobodan         

 Milosevic.
