 English duo Caroline Pierce and Suzanne

 Strudwick joined forces for a rewarding

 day's golf as they earned themselves a 

 share of third place.                  

                                        

 Pierce and Strudwick matched each other

 stride for stride as they went out as a

 third round pairing and returned with  

 seven-under-par totals apiece.         

                                        

 Strudwick gained a slight edge as her  

 71 was a stroke better than Pierce's   

 score but both now know that they are  

 among formidable company.              

                                        

 Defending champion Lotta Neumann joined

 them on seven-under with her 71 and all

 three lie four shots off the lead.
