 American legend Nancy Lopez showed a   

 touch of her class on Saturday as she  

 moved within sight of the leading pack.

                                        

 Lopez, who has not won a tournament    

 since 1993, is still in with a chance  

 of a high finish at Woburn after       

 returning a 70 to go five-under.       

                                        

 A dazzling eagle at the 10th, where she

 cut in a four iron to within a foot,   

 had her "a little excited" but the     

 adrenalin level dropped when she three-

 putted the next hole.                  

                                        

 She said: "I would have liked to have  

 made at least a couple of other putts  

 but otherwise it was a good round."
